In an inspiring gesture to motivate and honor the tireless service of frontline heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Jitendra Kumar Tiwari, President of Jila Jankalyan Mahasamiti and Rani Jhansi Foundation, Uttar Pradesh, India, led a massive recognition drive. Over 20,000+ Corona Warriors were honored for their dedicated service to the people across four districts of Uttar Pradesh during the national lockdown period.

This unprecedented effort took place between April 1, 2020, and August 5, 2020, during one of the most challenging phases of the pandemic. The grand felicitation culminated in a formal record-setting event on 10th August 2020 at Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
