The initiative is being powered by Shakti Pumps, which has successfully contributed 8,846 solar pump systems as part of a massive clean-energy rollout aimed at uplifting the agricultural sector.
The state government announced that the record-setting initiative is designed to promote sustainable farming practices, reduce dependency on conventional electricity, and empower farmers with reliable and cost-effective irrigation solutions. With thousands of solar units already deployed across rural districts, the project is being hailed as one of India’s most significant renewable energy milestones.
