Legendary Telugu actor Chiranjeevi was honored by Guinness World Records as the “Most Prolific Film Star in the Indian Film Industry” in the actor/dancer category.
The recognition highlights Chiranjeevi’s remarkable contributions over a 45-year career, during which he has performed 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs across 156 films.
Chiranjeevi, whose net worth is estimated at Rs 1,650 crore, has been a dominant figure in Indian cinema, particularly in Telugu films. He is also the first Indian actor to earn over Rs 1 crore for a single film.
Upon receiving the award, Chiranjeevi expressed gratitude, stating, “I never sought recognition from the Guinness World Records, but it feels incredible to be honored for my dancing. It is dancing that truly made me a star and brought me so many rewards throughout my career.”
This accolade adds to Chiranjeevi’s list of honors, including the Padma Bhushan in 2006 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2024.
