Vadodara, Gujarat – In a special tribute to legendary Bollywood singer Kishore Kumar on his birthday and to uplift spirits during the COVID-19 pandemic, Pritesh Sweta Yashwant Barot, famously known as the Soulful Golden Voice of Kishore Kumar and a multiple record holder, organized a remarkable world record event.
On 4th August 2021, at SV Virtual Studio, Gotri, Vadodara, Pritesh performed a nonstop medley of Kishore Kumar’s songs, singing 63 songs (both mukhda and antra) continuously in just one hour with live orchestra accompaniment. This extraordinary feat earned him a new world record.
Supporting the music were Chirag Solanki on keyboard and Jayesh Solanki on octapad. During the event, Pritesh also appealed to the government to honor both Mohd. Rafi Saheb and Kishore Kumarji with the prestigious Bharat Ratna award, recognizing their timeless contribution to Indian music.
