“Patidar Sandesh” Sets Record with 480 Uninterrupted Monthly Editions in 40 Years

In a remarkable feat of journalistic consistency and community service, the All India Kutch Kadwa Patidar Youth Society, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, has achieved a new milestone with the uninterrupted publication of its Gujarati monthly social newspaper “Patidar Sandesh” (Regd. No. RNI 46522/88). Under the visionary leadership of Shri Shamjibhai Patel (Chief Editor) and Shri Karamshibhai Patel (Co-Editor), the newspaper has completed 480 monthly editions without a single break from 10th April 1981 to 10th March 2021.

Even in the face of numerous challenges—including communal riots, natural disasters like earthquakes and floods, and the global COVID-19 pandemic—the editorial team ensured the timely publication and distribution of the newspaper. Over 23,500 copies are sent via post and digitally each month to the Patidar community worldwide.

The organization is presently led by Dr. Amrutbhai Patel (President) and CA R. N. Patel (Senior Vice President), whose dedication and service have strengthened the publication’s legacy. This relentless commitment to community journalism was officially recognized as a new record on 10th March 2021 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
