Chefs in Istanbul, Turkey have created the world’s longest lahmacun, earning official recognition from Guinness World Records.
The massive version of the traditional Lahmacun—often referred to as Turkish pizza—was prepared by a team of culinary experts who worked together to stretch the dish to an extraordinary length.
The record attempt required precise coordination, as chefs carefully rolled out the dough, spread the minced meat mixture evenly, and baked the long lahmacun to perfection.
Officials measured the final product to confirm it surpassed previous records, marking a proud moment for Turkey’s rich culinary heritage.
The event attracted large crowds, with spectators gathering to witness the creation of the giant dish and celebrate the country’s beloved cuisine.
