As part of the 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, Vigyan Gurjari, Karnavati Gandhinagar Unit, organized a groundbreaking initiative — the Longest Expert Talk Series under the banner of SIF 2022 (Student Innovation Fest). The event brought together a unique confluence of 75 academicians, scientists, and industry experts representing 75 universities, research institutes, colleges, and schools across Gujarat.
Spanning 75 consecutive days, the series featured enriching sessions on Science, Technology, and Innovation, amounting to a total of 7500 minutes of expert-led knowledge sharing. The monumental event culminated in a New Record being set on 30th August 2022 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The initiative witnessed overwhelming participation, with over 10,000 students, faculty members, researchers, and professionals attending the sessions, both in-person and virtually. The program served as a dynamic platform for youth engagement, fostering scientific curiosity and promoting innovation culture across educational and research institutions in the state.
This historic achievement stands as a shining example of Gujarat’s commitment to scientific progress, education, and the vision of a self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat), all while commemorating 75 years of India’s independence in a truly impactful manner.
