D.Y. Patil University (Ambi), School of Engineering & Technology, Talegaon, Pune, Maharashtra, achieved a remarkable milestone by organizing a Copyright Filing Marathon that set a new world record.
Under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Sayalee Gankar, Vice Chancellor, and Prof. (Dr.) Pranav Charkha, Dean, the event saw the enthusiastic participation of 23 faculty members who collectively filed a total of 258 copyrights in a single day at the Copyright Office in Dwarka, New Delhi.
The marathon began at 8:00 AM on June 1, 2024, and concluded successfully by 6:00 PM the same day, marking a testament to the university’s commitment to promoting intellectual property rights and fostering innovation among its academic community.
The event was meticulously coordinated and managed by Prof. Anurag Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, who ensured seamless execution and compliance with official filing protocols.
