Thousands of schoolchildren in Ahmedabad, India came together for a sweet celebration as they attempted to set a new ice cream–themed world record.
The large-scale event saw students from numerous schools gather at a single venue to participate in the record attempt, which involved eating ice cream simultaneously. The initiative was organized to promote community participation and create a fun activity for children while aiming for recognition from Guinness World Records.
Rows of excited students were handed ice cream cups before the countdown began. Once the signal was given, thousands of children started eating their treats at the same time, creating a lively and colorful spectacle.
Event organizers said the attempt required careful planning and coordination to ensure every participant followed the official guidelines. Volunteers and teachers helped manage the large crowd and made sure the activity was carried out safely.
Officials monitored the attempt and recorded participation numbers, which will be submitted for review by Guinness World Records for possible certification.
