In a remarkable feat of engineering and endurance, Suroj Buildcon Pvt. Ltd, Pune, has set a new benchmark in the construction industry by executing the largest concrete pour for a VCV (Vertical Continuous Vulcanization) tower in India.
The massive pour covered an area of 1,931 square meters with a raft height of 4.50 meters, utilizing an astonishing 8,688 cubic meters of concrete — all in a single, continuous pour lasting under 29 hours. This engineering marvel was carried out at the KEI Wire & Cables VCV Tower project site in Sanand, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
This record-breaking operation not only highlights Suroj Buildcon’s capability in large-scale industrial construction but also underscores its precision planning, high safety standards, and commitment to innovation in civil engineering.
The achievement was officially recognized in December reaffirming the company’s position as a leader in pushing the limits of construction excellence.
