Nagpur Sets World Record with 4,900 Devotees Performing Maha Aarti on Ram Navami

Nagpur witnessed a historic and spiritually charged celebration on the occasion of Ram Navami as Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended a grand Maha Aarti event that set a new World Record. A total of 4,900 devotees participated in the collective aarti, surpassing the previous record of 2,500 participants and marking a significant milestone for the state and the nation.

The event was organised by BJP MLA Ashish Deshmukh, who envisioned creating a record-breaking moment on the auspicious festival. The large-scale participation reflected deep devotion and unity among citizens, turning the occasion into a landmark cultural achievement.

Addressing the media, Chief Minister Fadnavis highlighted the importance of the moment, stating that the collective effort had successfully created a new global record. He credited the planning and execution of the event to MLA Ashish Deshmukh and praised the enthusiasm of thousands of participants who came together to perform the aarti.

Ashish Deshmukh also expressed pride in the accomplishment, noting that the event had surpassed last year’s record and established the largest collective aarti in the country on Ram Navami. He described the achievement as a new milestone that showcases India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage on the global stage.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to citizens across the country on the occasion of Ram Navami. In a message shared on X, he conveyed his best wishes and emphasized the enduring inspiration drawn from the life of Lord Ram, symbolizing sacrifice, discipline, and righteousness.

The Prime Minister expressed hope that Lord Ram’s blessings would ensure the well-being of all and guide the nation toward the vision of a “Viksit” (developed) and “Aatmanirbhar” (self-reliant) Bharat. He noted that the ideals of Maryada Purushottam Ram continue to inspire not only India but humanity as a whole.

The record-setting event in Nagpur, combined with nationwide celebrations and messages of unity and progress, made this year’s Ram Navami particularly memorable.
