Most Margaritas Sold in Eight Hours Aboard Regal Princess

Crew members and passengers aboard a Princess Cruises ship have made history by setting a new Guinness World Records title for the most margaritas sold in just eight hours.

The record-setting event took place on February 17, 2026, aboard the Regal Princess while the ship was docked in Cozumel, Mexico. Together, guests and crew achieved an astonishing total of 3,410 margaritas sold, surpassing the previous mark of 2,728 and setting a new benchmark for festive fun at sea.

The margaritas were crafted using Pantalones Organic Tequila, a premium spirit tied to well-known supporters of the cruise line, adding a distinctive and spirited twist to the celebration. The record attempt turned into a lively party, with music, scenic ocean views and passengers cheering each other on as the tally climbed.

According to Princess Cruises, the achievement reflects the teamwork and enthusiasm of both crew and guests, and underscores the entertaining experiences the line strives to offer on every voyage.

On social media, the cruise line encouraged followers to “raise a glass” in celebration of the successful world record, with passengers sharing photos and stories from the day’s festivities.

The new record is yet another feather in the cap for Princess Cruises, highlighting a blend of spirited camaraderie and unforgettable moments that define life on board.
