The The UPS Store® float made history at the 137th Rose Parade presented by Honda on January 1, 2026, earning a new Guinness World Records™ title for the Largest Animatronic Fish as it traveled down the parade route in Pasadena, California.
The record-setting float featured a towering 34-foot animatronic fish, captivating fans and judges alike with its scale and intricate design. The display combined artistic floral craftsmanship with advanced mechanical animation, showcasing teamwork and creativity — key themes of this year’s parade.
In addition to the Guinness World Record, The UPS Store’s float earned the Director Trophy from the Tournament of Roses® for outstanding artistic design and use of floral and non-floral materials — one of six trophies awarded to floats built by Artistic Entertainment Services (AES) this year.
Spectators lining Colorado Boulevard and viewers watching across the nation were treated to the spectacular sight as the float marched along the 5½-mile route, combining floral artistry with a world-record achievement to kick off the New Year.
