14-Year-Old NRI Creates AI App to Detect Heart Disease in Seconds

14-year-old NRI student Siddharth Nandyala has developed an AI-powered mobile application called Circadia V that can detect heart diseases in just seven seconds.

Impressed by the young prodigy’s achievement, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu invited Siddharth to his office in Amaravati for a detailed discussion on the app’s features and potential applications in public healthcare. Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav and Siddharth’s father, Mahesh Nandyala, originally from Anantapur, accompanied him during the meeting.

According to Naidu, the innovation has the potential to revolutionise early cardiovascular disease detection. In a post on social media platform X, the chief minister wrote:

“This 14-year-old has made detecting heart-related problems easier! I am absolutely delighted to meet Siddharth Nandyala, a young AI enthusiast from Dallas and the world’s youngest AI-certified professional, holding certifications from both Oracle and ARM. His app, CircadiaV, is a medical breakthrough that can detect heart-related issues within seconds.”

Naidu further praised Siddharth’s commitment to using technology for social good, adding,

“I am very impressed by Siddharth’s extraordinary talent and dedication to using technology for the benefit of humankind. At such a young age, he is an inspiration to us all. I wholeheartedly encourage him to pursue his passion for healthcare technology and assure him of our full support in all his endeavours.”

An AI Breakthrough in Healthcare

Siddharth’s app, CircadiaV, utilises smartphone-based heart sound recordings and machine learning algorithms to analyse cardiovascular patterns with over 96% accuracy. The technology has already been tested on more than 15,000 patients in the U.S. and 700 patients in India, including trials at GGH Guntur.

The app aims to make early detection of heart diseases accessible and affordable, especially in areas with limited access to advanced medical infrastructure.

Inspiring Young Technologists

Beyond his AI innovation, Siddharth is also the founder and CEO of STEM IT, a global educational initiative promoting STEM education, robotics, coding, and AI literacy among students. Through his platform, he hopes to inspire other young minds to harness technology for real-world problem-solving.

With his achievements and growing recognition from leaders and professionals worldwide, Siddharth Nandyala stands as a shining example of India’s next generation of tech-driven innovators — using intelligence, empathy, and ingenuity to transform global healthcare.
