Gevora Crowned Tallest Hotel in the World by Guinness World Records

The dazzling skyline of Dubai has added another world record to its collection, as the Gevora Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road has been officially certified by Guinness World Records as the Tallest Hotel in the World.

The striking gold-colored skyscraper stands at an architectural height of 356.33 meters (1,169 feet), narrowly surpassing its local competitor, the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, by just over a meter.

The four-star Gevora Hotel, which opened its doors in February 2018 after over a decade of construction, features 75 floors and houses 528 deluxe rooms and suites. The record-breaking achievement underscores Dubai’s continuous ambition in pushing the limits of modern architecture and luxury hospitality.

The official Guinness World Records plaque recognizing the towering achievement is prominently displayed in the hotel’s lobby, inviting guests and visitors to celebrate the monumental structure.

The Gevora is considered a “pure hotel” building, meaning its entire structure is dedicated to hotel use, a key distinction in the record. Tourists can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city, including the Burj Khalifa, from the hotel’s observation deck and its pool and leisure facilities located on the 12th floor.
