A seasoned Danish skipper has added a new, unconventional title to her vast collection of championships, setting a Guinness World Record for the most double Dutch-style skips on all fours in one minute (female). Lisa Rygaard Frost Kristensen, a 42-year-old rope-jumping veteran, teamed up with her friends to complete an astonishing 58 skips.
The record-breaking attempt took place on July 10, 2025, at an athletic hall in Copenhagen. Frost Kristensen, known for her three decades of experience in the sport, roped in help from her friends Christine Møller Jensen and Jannicke Birk Christensen, who expertly turned the two ropes for the challenge.
The record is a testament to Frost Kristensen’s lifelong dedication to rope jumping. She has a vast collection of medals from national, European, and world championships, but this record-breaking feat stands out for its unique blend of skill and creativity. The “all fours” style of skipping, which requires incredible coordination and core strength, is a departure from traditional jumping.
“I have been jumping rope for over 30 years,” Frost Kristensen said. “I am so happy that my passion for the sport has now led to a Guinness World Records title.”
The record not only celebrates Frost Kristensen’s personal skill but also highlights the camaraderie that is a core part of the sport. Her teammates, Møller Jensen and Birk Christensen, were integral to her success, providing the rhythm and speed needed to complete the challenging skips. The team’s achievement is an inspiring example of how a collaborative spirit can lead to a world-class performance.
