A teenager has officially entered the record books for having the largest feet in the world, astonishing doctors, shoe manufacturers, and the public alike.
16-year-old Max Parkman from the United States now holds the Guinness World Record for the largest feet on a living teenager, with each foot measuring size 23 US (approx. 38 cm long). His footwear size surpasses even many professional athletes, including NBA giants.
Max’s family first noticed his rapid foot growth around the age of 9. “We were replacing shoes every few months, and soon we couldn’t find any in stores,” said his mother, Sharon Parkman. “Now, all his shoes are custom-made.”
Despite the challenges, Max embraces his uniqueness. “It’s cool to stand out — literally,” he joked during an interview. He hopes to use his platform to inspire confidence in kids with physical differences.
Doctors have confirmed Max’s overall health is stable, and his growth, though exceptional, is not linked to any disorder.
The Guinness World Records organization verified the measurements earlier this month and praised Max for “celebrating body diversity with pride.”
