Anoushka Jolly from Delhi Honoured for Social Service with Rashtriya Bal Puraskar

Anoushka Jolly, a compassionate and driven young changemaker from Delhi, has been awarded the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025 in the category of Social Service, recognizing her remarkable efforts to combat bullying and promote mental well-being among children and teenagers.

At just a young age, Anoushka founded the Anti-Bullying Squad (ABS) — a youth-led initiative aimed at creating safe spaces for students across schools and raising awareness about the damaging impact of bullying. Through workshops, digital campaigns, and school partnerships, her initiative has reached over 2,000 children and educators nationwide.

Her app, Kavach, offers a platform for students to anonymously report bullying incidents, access professional counseling resources, and connect with support groups. Her work has been instrumental in giving a voice to countless children who often suffer in silence.

At the prestigious award ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Hon’ble President of India presented Anoushka with the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar medal and citation. The award stands as a recognition of her dedication to building a kinder and more inclusive society.

Speaking at the event, Anoushka said, “Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and respected. Social change begins with empathy, and I’m committed to continuing this journey of awareness and action.”

Anoushka Jolly’s inspiring story is a shining example of how young minds can drive powerful social change and lead with courage, compassion, and purpose.
