New Delhi Debuts Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya – India’s Premier Prime Minister Museum

A symbol of India’s democratic journey, the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya—India’s first dedicated Prime Ministers’ Museum—has become one of the capital’s most innovative and educational landmarks. Inaugurated on April 14, 2022, at the historic Teen Murti Bhavan complex, the museum pays tribute to all of India’s Prime Ministers, from Jawaharlal Nehru to Narendra Modi.

Designed to blend heritage with futuristic storytelling, the museum spans two architecturally distinct blocks and features 43 cutting-edge galleries, making it one of the most immersive political museums in Asia.

Each gallery in the museum brings to life the contributions, challenges, and leadership styles of India’s prime ministers through:

  • Augmented and virtual reality exhibits
  • Levitating national emblem
  • Holograms, LED kinetic art, and handwriting robots
  • 6D virtual helicopter rides and indoor GPS-enabled audio guides

One of the standout attractions is the Toshakhana Zone, where gifts, mementos, and personal items received by prime ministers are now open for public viewing—many on display for the first time.
