Turner Twins Set Sights on World Altitude Record in Electric Paramotor

Professional adventurers Ross and Hugo Turner, famously known as the Turner Twins, are preparing to soar to new heights as they attempt a world altitude record in a tandem electric paramotor.

The daring duo will launch their paraglider-style aircraft powered by cutting-edge battery technology in the French Alps, aiming to reach an altitude of 10,000ft (3,050m). The expedition is not just about setting records — it’s also a critical test of zero-emissions aviation technology.

“It’s all about pushing the boundaries of what clean energy can achieve,” said the brothers, who are partnering with engineers and environmental innovators to benchmark sustainable aviation capabilities.

The twins are no strangers to extreme feats. They previously became the first twins to row across the Atlantic Ocean and were part of the youngest crew ever to complete the challenge.

With this latest venture, the Turner Twins continue to blend adventure with impact, hoping their efforts will inspire future advancements in eco-friendly flight.
