In a remarkable display of determination and patriotism, Shailendra Yadav and Kamal Hasan, two specially-abled friends from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, organized a unique wheelchair marathon to salute the nation. They embarked on an incredible journey covering 250 kilometers over seven days on their wheelchairs.
The marathon commenced on November 11, 2019, from Bairagach Chichli Kolar Road, Bhopal, and concluded at the sacred Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, on November 17, 2019. Their inspiring effort not only showcased their resilience but also promoted awareness of inclusivity and accessibility for all.
Their achievement was recognized by World Records India, setting a new benchmark in the realm of specially-abled sports and community service.
