First Divyang Couple from India Conquers Khardung La Pass, Sets New World Record

In a remarkable feat supporting the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan missions, Shaila Dharmik and Paresh Dharmik, a specially abled couple from Vadodara, have become the first Divyang couple in India to summit the Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 feet.

On June 8, 2023, the couple reached the summit together at Leh-Ladakh, marking a significant milestone for specially abled individuals and setting a new world record. Their inspiring journey highlights resilience, determination, and the spirit of inclusivity.
