The Department of Computer Engineering at JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Pune, achieved a remarkable feat by organizing a Copyright Filing Marathon on March 11, 2025, setting a new world record for the most copyrights filed in a single day.
Under the dynamic leadership of Director Dr. Santosh Bhosle and Head of Computer Engineering Department Dr. Seema Kedar, the event saw an enthusiastic participation of 20 faculty members and 356 students, who collectively filed an impressive 392 copyrights in one day at the Copyright Office in Dwarka, New Delhi.
The marathon commenced at 10:00 a.m. and concluded at 6:00 p.m. the same day, marking a significant milestone in the college’s commitment to promoting innovation and safeguarding intellectual property rights.
Guided by an exceptional team of faculty mentors — Dr. Seema Kedar, Dr. Rushali Deshmukh, Dr. Prema Sahane, Prof. Shabana Pirjade, Dr. Nisha Wandile, Prof. Ashwini Bhosale, and Prof. Rutuja Khedkar — the event not only highlighted the institution’s dedication to academic excellence but also set a new benchmark in the field of legal and academic record-keeping.
