Geeta Batra, a car rider from New Delhi, India, has set a new record as the fastest female driver to complete a roundtrip expedition to Komic, the world’s highest village.

Batra began her remarkable journey on June 4, 2022, at 6:18 am, driving a Jeep Compass from New Delhi. She reached Komic Village, located in Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh, at an altitude of 15,500 feet (4,587 meters), on June 9, 2022. She then successfully returned to New Delhi on June 13, 2022, at 11:00 pm.

In total, she covered a distance of 1,600 km in just 10 days, achieving this milestone with determination and passion for adventure. Her feat was officially recognized as a new record on June 25, 2022, in New Delhi, India.

Batra’s accomplishment stands as a testament to female empowerment, endurance, and the spirit of exploration.
