Youth for Mother Earth: PAWS Mumbai’s Inspiring Journey in Environmental and Animal Welfare

Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai (PAWS-Mumbai), a youth-led organization dedicated to animal welfare and environmental protection, has been officially recognized by World Records India and World Amazing Record 2012 for its outstanding grassroots activism under the title “Youth for Mother Earth.”

Founded in 2002 by a group of passionate young individuals, PAWS-Mumbai has consistently raised critical issues related to animal rights and ecological preservation. Their on-ground efforts, educational outreach, and rescue operations have significantly impacted local communities, setting a precedent for youth-driven change across the country.

In a celebratory event, the World Record Trophy and Certificate were presented by Paavan Solanki, President of World Records India. The award was proudly accepted by Sunish Subramanian Kunju, Founder of PAWS-Mumbai, along with Hollywood Actress Sofia Hayat, Patron of the organization.

This recognition celebrates PAWS-Mumbai’s unwavering commitment to protecting the planet and its creatures and serves as an inspiring example of how collective youth action can drive transformative change for a better tomorrow.
