In a noble initiative aimed at saving lives and fostering unity, the Ahmednagar City Bar Association, in collaboration with Arpan Blood Bank, organized the first-ever blood donation camp on a court campus exclusively for judges, advocates, clients, and staff members. The event was held on 19th August 2013 at the Ahmednagar Court campus.
The camp witnessed an inspiring turnout, with 92 members donating blood and over 700 individuals getting their blood group checked, emphasizing both health awareness and social responsibility within the legal community.
The event was inaugurated by Principal District Judge Shri J.D. Kulkarni, along with District Judges Shri R.G. Wankhade, Shri Debadwar, and Shri P.B. Ghuge (Secretary, DLAS). The successful execution of the event was led by Adv. Shivaji Karale (President), Adv. Yuvraj Patil (Secretary), and the dedicated committee members of the Ahmednagar City Bar Association.
This humanitarian drive served not only as a life-saving gesture for patients in need but also as a unifying act reflecting the spirit of national integrity and community service.
