The Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University, Bhuj, Gujarat, organized a historic world record event titled ‘Vishva Shanti Yajna’ aimed at promoting world peace and the well-being of mankind amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Over 13,000 participants gathered across Kutch district, maintaining strict social distancing protocols, to take part in this spiritual and peaceful yajna, held from 10 am to 11 am. The event was held under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jayrajsinh Jadeja, Dean of Arts Faculty Dr. Kashmira Mehta, and Dr. Dhruv Purabiya.
The program’s focus was not only to invoke universal peace but also to strengthen the collective resolve in fighting the COVID-19 crisis globally. The massive participation and seamless coordination led to the setting of a new world record, officially adjudicated by Mr. Milan Soni and Ms. Devyani Soni, renowned adjudicators from Kutch district.
