Dr. Vimal Rathi and Team Set New World Record with Tiranga Challenge on World’s Friendship Day

To celebrate World’s Friendship Day, Dr. Vimal Rathi, founder of Awareness Charitable Trust & WorldPHD, along with Educationist Ritu Rathi, Shenaz Hilluwala (Founder of Hill’s Nursery, Gujarat), and Pravin Vora, organized an inspiring world record event titled “Tiranga Challenge – Plant 1 Tree and Challenge 3 Friends.”

In this unique event held at VNSG University, Surat, a total of 978 children under the age of five actively participated by tying 2,337 friendship bands on trees—all completed within one minute. This remarkable feat set a new World Record, symbolizing friendship, environmental awareness, and community spirit.

The event not only encouraged tree planting but also fostered the values of friendship and environmental responsibility among the younger generation. Dr. Vimal Rathi and his team’s dedication to creating awareness and promoting sustainability was widely appreciated by participants and attendees.
