In a remarkable initiative to promote mental wellness and women empowerment during the stressful COVID-19 lockdown, Mrs. Kusum Gupta, a dedicated social worker and the founder of Mahila Jagruti Sangathan, organized a 10-day Online International Art Competition that witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 400 women across the globe.
Held entirely online, the event offered a creative outlet and a sense of community to women from all walks of life, allowing them to express their emotions, talents, and resilience through visual art during a time of global uncertainty.
The competition not only served as a stress-relief platform during the pandemic but also significantly contributed to uplifting women’s morale, showcasing their creativity on a global stage, and encouraging cultural exchange through art.
This unique initiative set a New World Record on 20th October 2020, and in recognition of her outstanding, dedicated, and inspirational contribution to society, Genius Foundation & World Records of India proudly presented Mrs. Kusum Gupta with a Certificate of Appreciation.
