In a remarkable stride towards the mission ‘From Cleanliness to Prosperity’, Mr. Dilip (Rajan) Laxman Girap, the Honourable Mayor of Vengurla and a dedicated social enthusiast, along with his team, has been recognized for their exceptional contributions to public welfare and sustainable development.
Under his leadership, Vengurla has achieved significant milestones, including:
- Establishing the Best Art Gallery in the Konkan Region
- Implementing Saptapadi Sanitation initiatives
- Introducing the Zero Dumping Concept
- Developing the Clean India Tourism Center
- Enforcing Multi-Class Solid Waste Segregation
