In a grand tribute to the 72nd birthday of Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (2022), Shri Kantilal Amrutiya, fondly known as “Kanabhai”, a five-time MLA of the 65 Morbi-Maliya Constituency and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Gujarat, organized an extraordinary Blood Donation Camp on October 19, 2022.
The event was held as part of a Katha program and saw a massive participation of 720 blood donors in a single day, setting a New World Record for blood donations during a religious and community gathering. This noble initiative was conducted in Morbi, Gujarat, and served as a dual celebration of leadership and patriotism.
With this initiative, Kanabhai not only honoured the Prime Minister’s unwavering dedication to the nation but also instilled the spirit of seva (service) among the people. The record-breaking event underlined the importance of collective responsibility and community service.
In recognition of this impactful achievement, Genius Foundation & World Records of India proudly presented Shri Kantilal Amrutiya and his team with a certificate of appreciation, applauding their outstanding, dedicated, and selfless service in the spirit of nation-building and public welfare.
