Sumita Bose from New Delhi, India, has become the first author to write a comprehensive book addressing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within the Indian socio-cultural context. Her groundbreaking work, titled “Autism – A Handbook of Diagnosis and Treatment of ASD”, was published by V&S Publisher, New Delhi, and released in February 2015. The book offers an in-depth exploration of ASD, aiming to increase awareness and provide guidance tailored to the unique challenges faced in India.
