IDEAS UNLIMITED, a renowned production house based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, set a new record with their unique mono play titled “Mohan no Masalo.” Directed by acclaimed director Manoj Shah, the 90-minute solo performance was staged in Hindi, English, and Gujarati—all in a single day—at the prestigious Prithvi Theatre, Mumbai, on June 10, 2016.
The entire play was performed solo by talented actor Pratik Gandhi, who portrayed the iconic Mahatma Gandhi with remarkable depth and versatility. The original script, penned by Ishan Doshi in English, was skillfully adapted into Gujarati by Satya Mehta and into Hindi by Arpit Jain, allowing the story to reach diverse audiences through multilingual renditions.
This extraordinary feat has been recognized as a new record for the simultaneous presentation of a mono play in three different languages on the same day, highlighting the creative excellence and artistic dedication of the entire team.
