On the occasion of Maharashtra Day 2022, Mr. Narayan Namdev Motirave, a talented artist from Mumbai, achieved a remarkable feat by creating the largest portrait paper cut art of the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The artwork measures an impressive 4.5 feet by 3.5 feet, covering a total area of 15.75 square feet.

Using high-quality drawing paper (300 GSM) and glossy paper (400 GSM), Mr. Motirave meticulously crafted this vibrant and intricate paper cut portrait, reflecting the valor and spirit of the great Maratha king.

The record-setting event took place on 1st May 2022 at Borivali, Mumbai, marking a proud celebration of Maharashtra’s rich heritage and artistic talent.
