Mumbai Artist Sets New World Record with Replica of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaja’s Jagdamba Sword

On the auspicious occasion of Maharashtra Day 2022, Mr. Narayan Namdev Motirave, a talented artist from Mumbai, created a magnificent replica of the iconic “Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaja’s Jagdamba Sword.” Measuring an impressive 122 cm in length, the sword was crafted using a combination of teak wood, traditional Meenakari and Kundan art, along with galvanized sheet.

The extraordinary creation, completed with remarkable skill and dedication, set a new world record on 1st May 2022 at Borivali, Mumbai. The replica beautifully captures the essence and grandeur of the historic sword, symbolizing the rich heritage and valor of Maharashtra’s legendary warrior king.
