In a heartwarming celebration of culture, community, and active aging, Sevarat Healthcare and Nursing Pvt. Ltd. organized a World Record event featuring over 400 senior citizens who came together to perform a vibrant traditional Goan dance at the Peddem Indoor Stadium, Mapusa.
Under the visionary leadership of Rohini Gonsalves, the event brought to life the spirit of Goa’s rich heritage as seniors danced gracefully using traditional Goan props to the rhythm of live music for a continuous duration of six minutes.
The spectacular performance not only entertained and inspired the audience but also earned the participants a new world record, marking it as a milestone in the field of senior citizen engagement and cultural preservation.
“This event was more than a record—it was a statement. A statement that age is just a number and that tradition and health can walk hand in hand,” said Rohini Gonsalves, expressing gratitude to all the participants and volunteers who made the event a grand success.
The initiative by Sevarat Healthcare highlights the importance of active lifestyles and cultural participation among the elderly, promoting holistic well-being and community bonding.
