Marking a historic tribute to India’s agricultural heritage and to celebrate the International Year of Millets 2023, announced by Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji, the Nanera Parivar of Samast Sagar Samaj achieved a spectacular feat by creating and installing the world’s heaviest sculpture of a Pearl Millet (Bajra) plant.
The record-setting event was held at the revered Bhagwati Shree Satiaai Mataji Temple in Village Dhrafa, Jamnagar district, Gujarat, under the divine blessings of Saint Shri Nanji Bhagat Nanera, Shri Harji Bhagat Maru, and Shri Bhagwanji Bhagat Maru.
The monumental sculpture stands at an awe-inspiring 84 feet in height and 18 feet in width, crafted meticulously using 1,111 kilograms of iron metal material. The structure, symbolizing the rich legacy and nutritional value of Pearl Millets (Bajra), was unveiled and dedicated to Bhagwati Shree Satiaai Mataji as a grand offering of gratitude and celebration.
This initiative not only promotes awareness about the health benefits and environmental importance of millets but also serves as a shining example of community spirit and cultural pride. The sculpture is now a spiritual and agricultural landmark, drawing attention from across the state and beyond.
Leaders of Nanera Parivar expressed their sincere appreciation to all contributors and devotees for making this historic event a success. They emphasized that this installation is a tribute to India’s farmers and the enduring significance of traditional grains in ensuring food security and sustainable living.
With this accomplishment, Village Dhrafa has proudly joined the global stage by combining devotion, culture, and agricultural advocacy into one inspiring act that will be remembered for generations.
