World’s First Barista to Brew and Serve Coffee on Mount Everest Summit

In a remarkable blend of adventure and innovation, Dabuti Sherpa, popularly known as Dawa Sherpa, from Dolakha, Nepal, has been officially recognized by the World Book of Records, London as the First Barista in the world to summit, make, and serve coffee at the top of Mount Everest.

This extraordinary feat was acknowledged in a prestigious ceremony where Hon’ble Shri Nanda Bahadur Pun “Pasang”, Vice-President of Nepal, presented the official certificate to Dawa Sherpa at the Office of the Vice-President, Bahadur Bhawan, Kathmandu.

By brewing and serving fresh coffee at the world’s highest peak, Dawa Sherpa has not only celebrated her cultural roots but also showcased the limitless possibilities of human determination and creativity—even in the most extreme conditions.
