“India’s First Electric Bus Service: Pioneering Green Transport in Himachal Pradesh”

 India’s first electric bus service was introduced in Himachal Pradesh for Rohtang Pass, near Manali, at an altitude of 3,962.4 m (13,000 ft). This eco-friendly initiative aimed to reduce vehicular emissions in the ecologically sensitive Himalayan region.
