“Barbara Hardesty Sets World Record for Most Decorated Christmas Trees in One House”

Barbara Hardesty of Columbus, Ohio, set a world record by decorating 727 Christmas trees in her home, earning the title for the most decorated Christmas trees in one house.

This tradition began in 2011 when Hardesty was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. To uplift her spirits, she started decorating Christmas trees, a practice that has grown into a remarkable collection.

Each year, Hardesty opens her home to the public, inviting visitors to tour her “Christmas Tree Home.” The display features over 20,000 lights and a variety of themed trees, creating a festive atmosphere. Guests can enjoy cookies and hot cocoa, with donations collected for local charities.

Hardesty’s dedication to this holiday tradition has not only brought joy to her community but also provided her with a sense of purpose and healing throughout her cancer journey.
