In a stunning display of focus, skill, and synchronized effort, Guru Nanak Public School in Bidar has officially entered the Guinness World Records for organizing the Largest Event of People Solving Rubik’s Cube Simultaneously.
The remarkable feat saw thousands of students work in unison to solve the iconic 3×3 puzzle, cementing a new global benchmark for mass participation in a cerebral activity.
The record-breaking attempt was held on November 9th at the sports ground of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College as part of the school’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.
New Record: A staggering 5,434 students successfully solved the Rubik’s Cube simultaneously.
Previous Record: This effort comfortably surpassed the previous record of 3,997 participants, which was set by a Chennai-based school in 2018.
Adjudication: The event was officially overseen and verified by a representative from Guinness World Records, who confirmed the achievement on the spot. The adjudicator praised the school for achieving the record on its very first attempt, calling it a “truly exceptional accomplishment.”
The accomplishment is a testament to the students’ months of dedicated training and the meticulous organization by the school management and staff.
Reshma Kaur, Vice-Chairperson of the institution, congratulated the students, staff, and participants, calling the record a “moment of pride not only for the school but for the entire Bidar district.” The successful event highlights the institution’s commitment to promoting mental agility, concentration, and teamwork among its students.
The mass solve transformed the sports ground into a vibrant hub of intellectual energy, concluding with the official presentation of the Guinness World Records certificate to the school management.
