In a spectacular display of cultural pride and coordination, Kazakhstan has set a new world record for the largest parade of one-humped camels, featuring an incredible 252 camels marching in unison.
The record-breaking event was organized by Sydyk Davletov, Sharipa Davletova, and Daulet-Beket Ltd, showcasing the country’s deep-rooted connection with its desert heritage and nomadic traditions.
Held against the stunning backdrop of Kazakhstan’s vast steppe, the parade drew crowds of spectators and international recognition, as the official count confirmed all 252 camels participating — each carefully groomed and adorned with traditional Kazakh ornaments.
Organizers said the event aimed to celebrate the symbolic importance of camels in Central Asian culture, representing endurance, resilience, and the historic Silk Road trade routes that once linked Kazakhstan to the world.
The achievement has now been officially recognized by Guinness World Records, putting Kazakhstan on the global map for this unique and majestic celebration of heritage.
“It’s more than a record — it’s a tribute to our ancestors and our way of life,” said organizer Sydyk Davletov, beaming with pride.
