In a groundbreaking demonstration of power and engineering, TATA Motors’ newly launched petrol SUV, the TATA Curvv, has etched its name into the record books by pulling a 48-ton Boeing 737 passenger aircraft for a distance of 110.24 metres — the longest distance ever recorded by a petrol-powered SUV.
The feat was achieved using the 1.2L Hyperion GDi variant of the Curvv at the AIESL hangar in Thiruvananthapuram, where the vehicle towed the massive aircraft with impressive control and stability. This record-setting performance underscores the SUV’s advanced engineering, torque capability, and rugged design, positioning it as a standout in its segment.
