Signify Innovations India Limited, based in Gurugram, Haryana, has achieved a remarkable feat by creating the ‘Largest Illuminated Modak Installation’ in celebration of the Ganpati festival. The stunning structure was unveiled at the intersection of Chintamani Ganpati Mandal and the iconic Lal Bagh Cha Raja in Mumbai.
Standing 18.5 feet tall with a middle diameter of 24.5 feet and base diameter of 17 feet, the modak — a traditional sweet and favorite of Lord Ganesha — was brilliantly illuminated using Philips-brand lighting, creating a dazzling spectacle for devotees and passersby alike.
The installation, confirmed on September 7, 2024, will remain on display for the full 11-day Ganpati celebration till September 17, drawing large crowds and becoming a spiritual and visual landmark of the festival.
This initiative not only highlights the company’s innovation in decorative lighting but also reinforces cultural engagement by merging tradition with technology on an unprecedented scale.
