“Kerala’s Philosopher-Educator Muni Narayana Prasad Awarded Padma Shri”

The Government of India has conferred the prestigious Padma Shri on Shri Muni Narayana Prasad from Kerala in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the fields of Literature and Education.

A revered scholar, philosopher, and writer, Shri Muni Narayana Prasad is best known for his profound interpretations of Indian philosophical thought, particularly Advaita Vedanta, and his lifelong work in spreading the spiritual teachings of the Narayanaguru tradition. As the spiritual head of the Narayanagurukula, he has championed inclusive education, social reform, and intellectual inquiry rooted in Indian wisdom.

Authoring over 30 books in English and Malayalam, Shri Prasad has made complex philosophical ideas accessible to common readers while also engaging with global audiences through lectures and writings. His works emphasize universal values, rational spirituality, and the integration of modern education with timeless principles.
