“Industrialist and Humanitarian Sitaram Jindal Honoured with Padma Bhushan”

Industrialist and philanthropist Shri Sitaram Jindal has been awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian award, in the field of Trade & Industry. The recognition comes in honour of his outstanding contributions to Indian manufacturing, health, and rural development, with roots in Karnataka.

s the Chairman and Managing Director of Jindal Aluminium Ltd., Shri Sitaram Jindal has been instrumental in shaping India’s aluminium industry. Under his leadership, the company became the largest manufacturer of aluminium extrusions in India, renowned for innovation, quality, and sustainability.

However, it’s not just his industrial achievements that define him — Shri Jindal is equally respected for his commitment to social welfare. Through the Jindal Naturecure Institute and the Sitaram Jindal Foundation, he has dedicated his efforts to affordable naturopathy, education, and rural upliftment.

Shri Jindal’s philanthropic philosophy is deeply rooted in holistic health and inclusive development.
