The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has set a national record for conducting MSME and startup programmes in the maximum number of cities during its ambitious MSME & Startup Yatra. Organized by the Committee on MSME & Startup, the campaign covered 128 cities across the country over a span of more than 100 days.
Launched under the banner of ‘Viksit Bharat’, the initiative focused on financial and tax literacy, entrepreneurship promotion, and strengthening the ecosystem for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and startups. The Yatra, engaged aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals with capacity-building sessions, expert talks, and outreach programmes.
The feat was officially recognized in January marking a milestone in ICAI’s mission to foster inclusive economic growth and innovation across India. The campaign’s wide reach and transformative impact underline ICAI’s vital role in nation-building through knowledge dissemination and professional development.
