Dr. Mukesh Somchand Shah a renowned builder and developer from Mumbai, Maharashtra, and the visionary behind Adinath Developer, has achieved a remarkable feat by constructing a Jain Derasar (temple) that has set a new world record.
Dr. Shah’s latest marvel, a Jain Derasar designed in the distinctive shape of a shankha (conch shell), measures an impressive 49 feet in length, 25 feet in height, and 20 feet in width, covering a total area of 6000 square feet. The temple is constructed entirely of marble, adhering strictly to Jain principles, and notably does not use any steel or iron — an extraordinary architectural accomplishment.
The entire construction was completed in a record-breaking 54 days, a testament to Dr. Shah’s dedication, planning, and innovative construction techniques. This one-of-a-kind temple stands as a shining example of faith-inspired architecture and engineering excellence.
The Derasar was inaugurated on November 26, 2010, at Palitana, Gujarat, a place revered as a major Jain pilgrimage site. This architectural wonder, meticulously planned and executed, has earned Dr. Shah international acclaim and a prestigious place in the annals of world records.
This achievement not only reflects Dr. Shah’s commitment to his faith but also his contribution to architectural heritage and spiritual tourism, inspiring generations to come.
