A new Guinness World Record has been set in Glasgow for the most people slimed in a three-minute relay, during a spectacular and messy event.
A total of 80 children and adults, joined by special guests from the Gladiators, lined up to take part in the record attempt. Each participant had to tip a bucket of slime over the head of the next person in line, with the slime needing to land on the head and spill onto the body to count as a successful sliming.
Despite seven disqualifications, a verified total of 73 successful slimes were completed within two minutes and 30 seconds, officially setting a new record.
A Guinness World Records judge was on site to oversee and certify the attempt, which brought laughter, cheers, and a whole lot of green goo to the crowd.
The event was hailed as a triumph of teamwork, timing, and fun — with organisers celebrating the achievement in true CBBC style: with even more slime.
