“Dubai to Host Record-Breaking World Governments Summit 2025”

The city of Dubai is set to host the 12th edition of the World Governments Summit (WGS) from February 11 to 13, under the visionary theme ‘Shaping Future Governments’. This year’s edition is poised to make history with the largest international participation ever recorded in the summit’s history.

The 2025 summit will welcome an unprecedented gathering of over 30 heads of state and government, more than 80 international organisations, 140 government delegations, and over 6,000 participants, including top global thinkers, futurists, and policy leaders from every continent.

“WGS is not just a summit—it is a global platform for designing governments of the future,” said a WGS spokesperson. “We are proud to bring together the world’s most influential leaders to shape policy, innovation, and solutions for a rapidly changing world.”

The 50% increase in attendance compared to last year underlines the summit’s growing importance in shaping economic, social, and technological governance. The sessions will focus on AI governance, climate resilience, future of work, health systems, digital transformation, and global cooperation.
